Deactivated First Generation Glock 17 9mm Pistol. The Gen1 Glock 17 is the handgun that changed the modern era of pistol design and build. First introduced in 1982, it uses polymer rather than the more traditional steel or aluminium used to construct the frame along with its short recoil and locking breech mechanism made it a superb pistol. Very easy to operate and relatively cheap to produce with very few components, it has become one of, if not the most popular handgun of the modern era. Millions have been made and exported to countless military and police forces globally. The "First Gen" is now sought after as it has been upgraded and super seeded by the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations over the past 25 years. Amazingly this example is in its original box with cleaning tools. The magazine has is fitted with a Glock finger extension piece. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
