A very interesting Kalashnikov AKM (AK47) assault rifle, dated 1973 (Vietnam era). Probably the most iconic modern day assault rifle. Now one of, if not the most prolific weapons in circulation around the globe. Used by countless military forces and rebel groups around the world they were very popular with North Vietnamese forces fighting against the US. Virtually indestructible they can be used in all conditions with little or no maintenance. This particular example has a name and presumable the "hit rate" tally etched into the under side of the stock. A very good indication that this one saw extensive action during its service life. Comes with a bayonet and scabbard, tool kit and inert rounds. Deactivated to current specifications it is still partially strippable.
