Deactivated OLD SPEC EX British Military Sterling L2A3 SMG. This is one of only a handful that have been released from the British military stores and is brand new to the collectors market. Originally they were used by Commandos and Marines during there service life and eventually retired from active duties. This example is marked to New Zealand (Common Wealth country) with the broad arrow acceptance stamp. The painted ring signifies it was used as a training aid. It still has the 9mm training rounds in the magazine. It was deactivated in 1994 to old specifications with working selective fire/safety it be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
