Deactivated Old Spec FBP M/48 SMG. This weapon is a combination of features of the German MP40 and the American M3 "Grease Gun", and was designed by Major Cardoso of the Portugese Army. Extensive use was made of steel pressings, and the result was a reliable weapon. 9 mm Parabellum, 32 shot detachable box magazine, 500 rpm, weight 7.65 lbs. A rare and unusual machine gun to find deactivated.
This is an excellent condition early production model with bayonet lug, wooden grips and retractable stock. An old specification example, with matching numbers, deactivated very sympathetically it can be cocked and dry fired.
