Product Information

The Gorjunov SG-43 (model of 1943) was a medium machine gun developed in Russia during World War II. The initial development was done by Degtyarev, who was responsible for the current light (DP28) and heavy (DShK) machine guns. The design was modified by Goryunov with the final design being the SG-43. This was manufactured by Aswan in the United Arab Republic (U.A.R.) which was a short-lived political union between Egypt and Syria. The union began in 1958 and only existed until 1961. A very unusual machine gun to be found in the UK. Comes with its wheeled folding sled with fully adjustable mounts. It would make an impressive display piece. Still in great original condition it was deactivated to old specifications in 1989 with a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
