Deactivated Rare Old Spec Heckler & Koch G3 Assault Rifle chambered in 7.62mm. An early example dated August 1966 (8/66) with early wooden furniture and early dated magazine. The design of this rifle started in the late 1940's after WWII using German technicians who had helped design the MP45, which was the next generation of MP44. First introduced in 1959, it fast become one of the most popular rifles of its type, and has been used by many countries, including the British Military. Very hard to find in old specification (pre 1995) form. This example was deactivated in 1990, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired with functioning selector switch. Comes with inert 7.62mm rounds and sling.
