A superb condition deactivated Old Spec Cold War Era Polish Mosin Nagant Carbine M44 (Model of 1944). Dated 1954 , marked on the receiver with the Polish code 11 in a circle, with matching numbers to receiver, magazine and butt stock plate. Wood work has the correct Polish mark OW in a diamond. Fitted with folding bayonet and cleaning rod. Using Russian tooling, Polish made M44 are built to the highest possible quality and are far superior to any other manufacturers. They were used by police and military units, and were rumored to have been supplied to North Korea. Deactivated very sympathetically way back in 1988 to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
