This one of our VERY exclusive EX British military issued SLR L1A1s. This particular example is all matching numbers and is a low serial number, 187th of 1961(AD6100187) and is one of only around 15,000 supplied to New Zealand. The white painted band signifies that this weapon was used as a training aid once deactivated and retired from active duties. Note it does not have L1A1 stamped after the 7.62mm, only found on New Zealand contract SLRs. A rare opportunity to own one of the best British and Commonwealth military rifles. Comes with inert 7.62mm rounds, sling and tool kit. Deactivated sympathetically to old specifications in 1994 it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
