This is a rare Argentine Colt 1911. Marked on the slide with the initials C.F.S. "Consejo Federal de Seguridad" (Federal Internal Security or Secret Police). The serial number dates to 1954 when only 5,000 of these pistols were produced. From this small batch an even smaller amount were assigned and marked to the C.F.S. The condition is completely original with all matching numbers including the magazine. Rarely seen outside of Argentine waters and still in fabulous condition. A real collectors piece! Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
