Deactivated rare US Freedom Arms Model 83 .454 Casull 5 shot double action revolver. Introduced in 1983, the model 83 was then the most powerful handgun in the world. It is capable of delivering over a ton of energy from the .454 Casull round. This example is one of the very early ones and dates to between 1983-85. These early examples were built to the "premier grade" but were not marked on the frame unlike later versions. They are manufactured to an extremely high standard and considered to be amongst the best made handguns in the world. For this reason when sold new they were supplied with a life time guarantee. Rarely seen in the UK a real collectors piece. Deactivated to current specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
