This is a rare US Remington model 870 Wingmaster pump action, 12 bore shotgun marked to the Royal Ulster Constabulary - RUC. It has a 20 inch barrel and pistol grip. Shotguns with 20 inch barrels are only permitted to be used by military, police or special forces units in the UK. It also bears flaming bomb proof stamps on the bolt , usually only found on US military issued firearms. Its dates to the early 1980's, one of the most troubled periods of Northern Ireland's more recent history. This model was also very popular state side with US police forces.

Deactivated with a working pump action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

This item is unaffected by the new EU deactivation specifications.
