Rarely seen in the UK, a US Browning MK2 High power. These pistols are marked with US distributors "Browning Arms Company Morgan , Utah & Montreal P.O." and were only sold within the US. This example is one of one a small batch of MK2's produced as part of a limited production run during the 1980s. It has a military parkerized finish and ambidextrous safety with correct black plastic grips. The serial number dates to 1987 production. The "HP" is still one of the most popular and copied pistol designs, and is in use with many military, police and special ops units globally. Deactivated to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
