Product Information

A great condition Zastava-Kragujeva Yugoslavian RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova) light machine gun, model M72B1, dated 1986 (Cold War Era). An excellent all matching numbers example including bolt.  It was originally created and designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army in the 1950's. The design is based on the now legendary AK47. The M72 has a heavier barrel with cooling fins, to cope with sustained or prolonged fire. It continues to be used by many armed forces around the world today often seen in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorist organisations. It comes with a gunners kit that includes three spare magazines, tool kit, pull through cord, oil bottle and blank firing attachment. A very impressive set. Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired (old specification type deactivation) . Due to the currect rules imposed by the Home Office this type of machine gun is no longer deactivated with moving parts.

******This particular RPK pictured has sold but we a similar condition example available. Deactivated to the same specifications, it comes with the same accessories minus the launcher attachment*********
