A superb condition Cold War Era Russian manufactured SKS semi automatic carbine. Dated 1950 with all matching numbers it was made at the Russian Tula arsenal. Designed in 1945, this carbine was the for runner to the legendary Kalashnikov AK47. They are still used for ceremonial purposes and continue in service with many countries today. During the Vietnam War, Russia supplied the communist Vietnamese forces with SKS rifles.
