Designed in 1945, this carbine was the for runner to the legendary Kalashnikov AK47. This one is in great condition with all matching numbers, original wood work, deep crisp bluing and integral folding bayonet. It has also been modified for use a sniper rifle with a rail mount fitted on the left hand side. They are still used for ceremonial purposes and continue in service with many countries today. During the Vietnam War, Russia and China supplied the communist Vietnamese forces with quantities of these SKS rifles. Deactivated to current specifications.
