An SLR (Self Loading Rife) L1A1. Matching numbers to receiver and trigger/magazine assembly with military broad arrow acceptance stamps. The L1A1 was the mainstay of the British army through many post-war conflicts. One of classic UK forces weapons. Most famously used by the British during the Falklands War of 1982 and during the troubles in Northern Ireland. Firing the hard-hitting 7.62mm round, this weapon is remembered fondly by squaddies across the world. Deactivated with moving trigger and cocking lever plus removable magazine. Comes with fitted with an original sling and five inert 7.62mm rounds.
