Sterling MK4 L2A3. It is regimentally marked to New Zealand forces (N/I\Z 48) with a British broad arrow acceptance stamp between the N&Z. The Sterling was first conceived during the latter stages of WWII with some early trials examples being used at Arnhem. After the war the Sterling was officially adopted by the British Army in 1953 and continued in service into the 1990s, seeing action in the Northern Ireland the Falklands war and many other conflicts. The MK4 being the last regular version in service. Comes with an original magazine and correct sling. Deactivated to current specifications.
