This is a fabulous condition US made Universal M1 carbine, chambered in .30. A great looking variant of the iconic M1, this model is called the "military spec" and features a vented steel top cover in stead of the more traditional wooden one, and could easily be mistaken for an M2 carbine! It is fitted with original US military marked wartime woodwork. Included is a bespoke wooden chest containing a manual and storage container for the sling, oil bottle, pull through cord and the magazine. The magazine contains several inert .30 rounds and the stock is fitted with a sling that is secured with a wartime oil bottle in the stock cavity. Deactivated with a tensioned cocking lever.
