Deactivated Uzi 9mm submachine gun, manufactured by FN (Fabrique Nationale). This is the fully automatic version that is only normally issued to military personnel and is marked with various unit numbers. The UZI came about during the 1950’s in Israel’s primitive economy and arms industry. Ironically, it emerged from this setting as one of the most robust submachine guns ever developed. It came to great notoriety during the televised assassination attempt on President Reagan. Seen in the hands of the American Secret Service agents, and is probably the most famous weapon of modern times thanks to a certain Mr Schwarzenegger uttering those immortal lines "UZI NINE MILLIMEATOOR ! Deactivated to current specifications with a tensioned cocking lever it is still partially strippable.
