Just Arrived, Deactivated British SLR L1A1

This is a 1950s Enfield manufacture British SLR L1A1 fitted with its wooden furiture. SLR's fitted with original wood work are now very scarce, the majority were upgraded and replacement with the more common black plastic. The L1A1 was the mainstay of the British army through many post-war conflicts. It was most famously used during the Falklands War and Troubles in Northern Ireland. Firing the hard-hitting 7.62mm round, this weapon is remembered fondly by squaddies across the world. This example comes with an original sling and inert 7.62mm rounds.
