An incredibly rare old specification deactivated Star Model Z 45 (model of 1945) Submachine gun. This rare and unique submachine gun is designed and based on the legendary German MP40. The Z45 was conceived during the Second World War by the famous Spanish gun maker company Bonifacio Echeverria SA who were then supplying Nazi Germany with weapons. Using the MP40 as a platform they improved on it with the final design being an all together better gun. A very well made and reliable gun, it is capable of selective and fully automatic fire. For these reasons the Z45 proved very successful and has been exported and saw active service with many military and police forces around the world. Due to its rarity we believe that this example may well be one of just a few in the UK. Being made that much scarcer by virtue of being deactivated with a working action in 1991 to old specifications. A rare opportunity to own a very collectable and seldom seen old spec submachine gun. If you collect submachine guns this one should be in your collection!!!! It can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
