Deactivated Springfield 1903 bolt action rifle dated 1942. This example is in everyway superb, it is without doubt the finest condition example we have ever seen the woodwork is beautiful as it the metalwork. This is really a museum worthy example. Renowned for its accuracy the Springfield was the American snipers weapon of choice. Deactivated in 1992 with a full working action. This rifle is a first world war example that has been reissued in 1942 with a new barrel and woodwork.
This must be the best example around.
