WWII German MG34 Light Machine Gun 1940

WWII German MG34 Light Machine Gun. An excellent 1940 dated example and profusely WaA stamped. It has its rubber muzzle cover. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.

The MG34 was the first successful general-purpose machine-gun ever introduced.  It was originally designed by Mauser according to Waffenamt specifications. Introduced in 1934 and manufactured until the end of the second world war it is a superbly well engineered weapon made to very high tolerances and this was its downfall, it made it slow to manufacture and prone to stoppages in adverse conditions. A superb display item and an excellent example for the WWII collector.
