Dror Israeli made M1944 Johnson light machine gun

In the aftermath of World War II the newly created nation of Israel needed infantry weaponry to defend itself against its many Arab enemies. Although the world was awash in efficient and cheap surplus small arms it wasn't easy for the tiny Jewish state to import them, so it became necessary to quickly develop a domestic arms industry.
One of the first guns they made was a modified copy of the M1944 Johnson light machine gun, both in .303 British and 8mm Mauser caliber, called the DROR. It was only made in very small numbers.

This example is in excellent condition with a Parkerised finish and would be perfect for a reenactor, who wanted a 1944 Johnson, as used by the 1st Special Service Force, parachute unit and a battalion of Marine Raiders.
