Deactivated U.S. Browning 50 Cal Machine Gun M2, manufactured by AC Spark Plug Division General Motors with matching numbers and correct M3 tripod and belt of 25 inert rounds. The "fifty cal" ,as its most commonly referred to, has been used by many nations around the world. Hugely versatile, it has been used on land, sea and air. Designed by John Browning towards the end of the First World War, this model (M2) was first adopted by the US Army in 1933, seeing action in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and more recently in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is the machine gun of choice for NATO countries and US forces. Able to deliver the powerful .50 calibre round that can penetrate brick, light armored vehicles and just about anything else that gets in its way! A superb example, complete with sight mount, canvas cover, ammo can and purpose made wooden transit chest. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. This will make a stunning centre piece to any collection.

The wooden transit chest has wheels and handles, and is very easy to maneuver. There is a space inside to house the ammunition box and rounds. The chest has a padded location hole for the 50 cal's mounting pin to prevent any movement whilst in the transit.
