Product Information

This is a stunning condition, Regimentally marked, not to mention rare Long Lee Mk1*, produced by Royal Small Arms Factory Sparkbrook – the scarcest of the Mk1’s.

This example is crisply marked to the 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, a line infantry regiment of the British Army that saw distinguished service through many years and both World Wars. Interestingly, a 1905 armourers reconditioning stamp shows this rifle to have returned to British use having previously been issued to the Cape Government South Africa, during which time it would have seen active service during the 2nd Boer War, making this a true war veteran of a rifle with over 120 years of history. In absolutely top condition, the rifle is complete with its rare magazine retaining chain, often missing bolt cover, volley sights and magazine cut-off plate.

Chambered in .303 British with a superb bore.

An FAC is required with the correct variation to purchase this rifle.
