A very interesting British Made 12 Bore Side By Side Shotgun. It has no visible marker or serial number, it is however broad arrow marked! (on the base of the barrel location/locking lug) After some lengthy research we have concluded that it was most likely taken then inspected and issued to the British Home Guard during the Second World War. The British military needed as many firearms as it could get its hands during WWII, especially with the constant threat of invasion. The Government armed the various Home Guard units and able body civilians with whatever was available. Large and small gun makers were utilized to this affect. A very interesting shotgun. The design is similar to that of the Webley & Scott 700 series. The overall condition is very good with strong bores and a crisp tight break action.Walnut stock and foregrip with lovely engravings.  A current shotgun license or FAC is required to own this rifle. It can be deactivated to order.
