This is a very early first year of production (1947) Remington Junior Special Model 521T .22 Rifle. The barrel date code "OSS" is July 1947, the first year this model was produced. Originally developed for use by junior shooters, clubs and boy scouts groups in the US. Comes fitted with the original Lyman peep hole sights and Remington magazine, plus fore sight cover and Parker Hale scope mount and Nikko Sterling, Silver Crown 4X32 scope. Requires an FAC with the correct variation to purchase. Can be deactivated to order.
