A beautiful condition military marked SMLE No1 rifle, chambered in .303. This has to be one of the best looking SMLEs of its type available anywhere!!! It is fitted with Parker Hale peep hole sights and foresight cover. The high quality mounting bracket is marked "Bisley, Works ACA". The original rear sight assembly is supplied with it should you wish put back into standard trim. The woodwork speaks for itself and is in beautiful condition throughout which really sets this one apart from most others. Manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms it still retains many original features including early type bolt which is matched to the receiver and cut-off plate. The bore is in super condition and the action is incredibly smooth and tight. The stock compartment contains the correct period pull through cord and a BSA marked brass oil bottle. Chambered in .303 it can be owned on an FAC with the correct variation.
