An original WWI Winchester Model 1892 Under Lever Saddle Ring Carbine. The serial number dates to 1914. These carbines were ordered by the British during WWI and issued to British navy and Royal Flying Corps. The calibre is correct .44-40. The action is still crisp and bore in good order. This carbine is still live and requires a FAC with the correct variation.  Can be deactivated to order  .
