Product Information

A superb condition all matching WWII Lee Nefield No4 MKI*. Manufactured in 1943 by Canadian firm Long Branch under the 'lend lease" agreement to help arm Allied & Common Wealth forces during WWII. Many of these rifles failed to make it to Europe due to the heavy loses inflicted on merchant shipping by German U-boats. Thankfully this example made it. Post WWII is was upgrade to a MK1/3. Interestingly it has 1948 and 1953 rework stamps, a very good indication of extensive service use. After its extensive service life it was converted to a smooth bore .410 bolt action shotgun. It is currently restricted to a single shot and can be owned on a shotgun license.
