Product Information

A superb condition all matching WWII Lee Nefield No4 MKI*. Manufactured in 1943 by Canadian firm Long Branch under the 'lend lease" agreement to help arm Allied & Common Wealth forces during WWII. Many of these rifles failed to make it to Europe due to the heavy loses inflicted on merchant shipping by German U-boats. Thankfully this example made it. Post WWII is was upgrade to a MK1/3. Interestingly it has 1948 and 1953 rework stamps, a very good indication of extensive service use. After its extensive service life it was converted to a smooth bore .410 bolt action shotgun and currently has an unrestricted magazine and can be owned on an FAC with the correct variation. However, we can have it restricted to single shot which would mean it could then be held as on a section 2 shotgun license. If required please ask for more details.
