Product Information

An excellent condition WWII German K98 chambered in 7.92mm. This example was manufactured in 1938 by JP Sauer under secret Nazi code S/147. It still retains many original matched parts including its barrel, complete rear sight assembly, floor plate and main wood work. On the wood work below the first Nazi eagle acceptance stamp is the capital letter L, this was only used on German Airforce (Luftwaffe) procured weapons. This K98 would have been issued to the Fallschirmjager (German Paratroopers) and would have more than likely been involved in the "Blitzkrieg" tactics used in the early stages of WWII. Another interesting feature is the bolt. It is from a WWI KAR98 and has the distinctive chequered flat on the bolt cocking lever with Imperial German army markings.

Chambered in its original wartime calibre (7.92mm) this K98 can be owned on an FAC with the correct variation. The bore is in very good condition and action is smooth and crisp. Comes fitted with the correct sling and cleaning rod.
