Product Information

A superb condition Second World War, Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) No1 MKIII* rifle, dated 1943. This rifle was manufactured during WWII when Britain had a huge shortage of long arms and materials to produce them. Utilizing partly completed and manufactured parts Enfield & BSA were using all available parts to assemble as many serviceable weapons as possible. This can be clearly seen on this SMLE. Note the stampings on the body are only partly finished. Incredibly it still retains many original parts including the bolt and rear sight. The wood work is simply stunning. It has also used with a scope fitted. There two holes in the stock for a cheek piece and two more in the receiver for the scope mounts. A super looking rifle with lots of history.  Chambered in .303 it can be owned on an FAC with the correct variation.
