An early production Nazi K98 Bayonet and scabbard. The bayonet is coded S/184K - Jos Corts, it dates to 1934 - the first years of production! It has the correct early Weimar Eagle proofs on the pommel. Very few were made in 1934. The scabbard is S/173G by Coppel Gmbh and dates 1935 production. An unusual feature on the scabbard is the struck out and additional numbers. This would indicate it was reassigned. Both are rare makers who were secretly manufacturing for the Nazi's during the pre WWII re-armament build up.
