This is an extremely rare Perrins & Son, 6 Mealcheapen Street, Worcester revolver box. Constructed from oak it is completely hand made and would have been produced to fit a particular type of .450 or 455 British calibred revolver, most likely a Tranter or Bulldog. It dates to around 1880-90s and is lined with green felt baize fabric with various compartments for ammunition, cleaning and maintenance tools, some of which still remain.
