Product Information

This is an original First World War, Imperial German Navy Luger magazine. The Navy Luger itself a very rare beast, and most are usually fitted with an incorrect magazine. An original like this one has a distinctive ringed wooden base with the Imperial German Navy Crown over letter "M", plus the serial number of the pistol it was issued with. This number is stamped in a different position to army issued magazines. Production the Navy Luger's was very small in comparison to all other military contracted Lugers. Estimates do vary a little but informed authors on the subject have concluded that it is somewhere between 60,000 to 100,000 maximum. Many were lost at sea with the sailors and their vessels and are now extremely rare and hard to find.
