A First World War French, Schneider 75mm Howizter field gun ground. The brass shell case is dated 1917. The Schneider field gun was used widely used by both Allied and Axis forces. Seeing action in both world wars. The Nazis captured lots of these guns during WWII and issued them to various units throughout Europe.
