An inert WW1 French or British trench mortar bomb. It was nick named the "Flying Pig". It was designed by the French during the early stages of the Great War and then adopted by the British army from 1916. It could be launched from a mobile mortar within close distance to enemy lines. This example stands 63.5cm (25 inches) high and has a loading tube diameter of 2 1/4 inches . All three flight wings are in tact.
