An original Martini Henry / SMLE MKI brown leather sling complete with hoops and boot lace cord. They were first used on Martini's and later on early SMLE's during WWI before being replaced by webbing slings. Most have now perished as the leather didn't weather well during the horrendous condition of trench warfare.
