An original WWII - Battle of Britain era German Luftwaffe bomb fuse with Bakelite transport case. This is the type 25 and is marked ELAZ - (El.A.Z – Electrische Aufschlag Zünder -electrical impact fuze) with its aluminum dust cap. The makers code Rhs - Rheinmetall, Soemmerda plant, dated 1940, with the acceptance mark of the German air force. The Bakelite case is dated 1939 with the Nazi manufactures codes.
