A great condition Cold War Makarov holster marked to the Russian Ministry of the Interior. Under the flap it reads  M.d.j an early abbreviation for Ministry of the Interior, with the year stamp of 1962 (62). Below is "Lieterer No 1828" . This holster would have been issued, along with a sidearm to a member of Ministry, and most likely issued during Russia's communist rule in East German. It would have most likely housed a WWII Sauer 38H pistol or a Makarov. Ministry officials were known to carry these pistols.
