Product Information

A First World War field Clinomter MKV with WWII dated case. The Clinometer was made by Taylor, Taylor & Hobson Ltd in 1917 and also has a broad arrow acceptance stamp. The case is marked AP&S Clinometer Field 1. 1942 M.C.0542 No1.  They were used on a variety of guns including the Vickers machine guns, howitzers and artillery field guns. A beautifully engineered piece of military equipment that was used in both wars and is still in good working order. The stitching to the rear of lid of the case has come loose is places but does not affect its purpose.
