A First World War M1917 Bayonet with Scabbard. Marked with the US Government flaming grenade and on the reverse the makers mark letter "W" circled for Winchester and 1917. They fit the US P17 & UK P14 rifles and were also fitted to combat shotguns during WWI. Only Remington and Winchester manufactured this bayonet with Winchester producing by far the fewest only 225,000, whereas Remington made 1.25 million.
