This is a very rare mounted 35-36mm projectile piece bearing the manufacturer's name "Fried.Krupp A. G., Grusonwerk". This factory were responsible for munitions production during both world wars, for the German army.

This is likely to have been a desk piece or engineer's souvenir from the factory.
