Product Information

This is a rare WWI German stick grenade or Stielhandgranats M1916. The wooden handle is stamped with the makers name Carl Spaeier and time delay of 5 ½ Sekunden (5 ½ seconds). This model was first introduced mid way through the Great War, proving very effective. The star shaped end cap was designed to make it easier to unscrew in the cold muddy condition. The can still has its metal belt hoop. A rare survivor!
