An original WWII German Incendiary bomb. At first glance this one looks very similar to the standard incendiary bomb. However it has a unique and deadly feature. The nose cone houses a booby trap bomb. Unlike all other types this has a distinctive screw in the middle of base cap and several holes further up the cylinder that were wired to the bomb. They were deadly to those who were trying to put out fires and clear unexploded bombs. Thankfully this one failed to detonate. Note the impact marks on the nose. It is clearly marked with the correct WWII German ordnance stamps. A great piece of WWII history.
