Product Information

This is a rare WWII German Leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18 round compete with fuse and internals. The Leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18 was an infantry support gun that fired this 7.5cm round. This example dates to 1944 (Battle of the Bugle era). The steel case is maker marked auy = Polte-Werk, Gruenberg,1944. On the base of the steel case it reads 6341st = Kartuschen Hülse des le. I.G. 18, with the Nazi acceptance mark. The fuse is also Nazi marked with the markings Lelgr z23na 44 (1944) and the body has the codes 23Apla10 44 (1944). It is rare to find these rounds in such complete and original condition. Around 12,000 guns were manufactured, many were destroyed during the war.
