An original WWII German Luftwaffe bomb fuse. It is marked ELAZ - (El.A.Z – Electrische Aufschlag Zünder -electrical impact fuze), 38 with makers code bmv - Rheinmetall-Borsig AG, Soemmerda plant, and dated stamp 42 -1942, with the acceptance mark of the German air force. This fuse and its bomb were dropped but failed to detonate!
