Product Information

An original WWII German M35 S-Mine or Schrapnelline. They are most commonly known as the "Bouncing Betty". Upon detonation it would launch into the air at about waist height and explode, propelling shrapnel horizontally at lethal speeds. The S-mine was developed by the German's in the 1930s and was used extensively by Nazi forces throughout the Second World War. Its primary used was to be used in open areas to shielded or defend infantry. This example has clearly been in the ground before being made safe. Incredibly its remarkably complete with the compound three zunder configuration fuses, retaining screws and inner shrapnel sleeve.
