Rare First World War Bavarian Belt Buckle with intact leather tap. Dated 1913, the manufacture looks to be by A.Schweyed. Completely original it hasn't been over cleaned or polished, so the copper, gilded and nickle finished parts are is still sharp and crisp. It reads In Treue Fest meaning Steadfast and True. Remarkably it still has the leather tab, most having perished. They were used for ceremonial and parade dress as well as general service wear.
